Know Him Now!
A - Admit to God that you are a sinner. Repent, turning away from your sin.
(Romans 3:23, 6:23; Acts 3:!9; 1 John 1:9)
What is Sin?
Sin is defined as a violation of conscience or of divine law; missing the mark; or falling short. The Bible says "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23 When we sin, we are choosing our way instead of God's way and this separates us from God.
What does Repent mean?
Repent means to experience sorrow for and seek to change wrong behavior. The Bible tells us "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out" Acts 3:19.
B - Believe that Jesus is God's Son and accept God's gift of forgiveness from sin.
(John 3:16, 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 5:8; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 1:11-13)
C - Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
(1 John 1:9; Romans 10:9-10, 13)
If you choose to believe Jesus died for your sins and decide to receive new life through Him, pray a prayer similar to this:
Dear God, I know I have sinned and my sin has separated me from You. I believe Jesus died for my sin and only through Him can I be forgiven. I ask that you will forgive me of my sins and come into my life as my Savior and Lord. Please begin to direct my life and lead me in the direction I need to go. Thank you for this precious gift of eternal life you have given me and for your gift of forgiveness. In Jesus' name, Amen.
If you have said this prayer, we encourage you to call and set up a time to speak with our Pastor or visit us this Sunday. We would love to welcome you into God's Kingdom and help guide you in your walk with Christ.
