Vacation Bible School

"IN THE WILD! … Amazing Encounters with God" (John 20:31) 

 

~ Sunday, July 14th through Friday, July 19th

 

~ All children from 4-years old through 12-years old are invited to join us for an exciting adventure as we head out into the wilderness seeking real-life encounters with Jesus.  Each fun-filled session begins with an Opening Worship Rally. From there, the kids move to their basecamps for Bible study.  After studying the Bible passage for the day, they begin a rotation through Music, Crafts,  Missions, and Recreation!  About half-way through each evening's activities everyone joins together for Snacks and Refreshments. When that is complete, the kids resume their rotation through the Music, Crafts, Missions, and Recreation sites.  As the week progresses, those children, who are ready to do so, will have the opportunity to invite Jesus Christ into their lives as Lord and Savior. They will also learn some basic facts that will help them defend their new-found faith.

 

~ Pre-Registration: You may pre-register your children through their Sunday school class.  You may also pre-register them via e-mail to cbcpg@cwtg.com. Please include your child's full name, age, home address, last school grade completed, and parent/guardian name and contact phone number. Also, please indicate if your child has any allergies, special medical needs or behavioral issues that we need to be aware of.

 

~ On-Site Registration: 5:30pm, Sunday, July 14th

 

~ VBS Classes in session: 6:00pm to 8:30pm, Sunday evening (July 14th) through Thursday evening (July 18th)

 

~ VBS Graduation and Family Night Activities: 7:00pm to 8:30pm, Friday, July 19th

 

~ Parents Please Note: We encourage all VBS participants to wear sneakers or similar closed-toe shoes to VBS as several activities will be conducted on the lawn areas outside of the church building.
