Greetings From Our Pastor

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
It is my great pleasure to serve God as pastor of Charity Baptist Church, Prince George, Virginia.  Our church-family is composed of some of the friendliest people you could ever hope to meet.  We look forward to having guests worship with us.
We are a Bible-believing, Bible-teaching, and Bible-preaching Southern Baptist church.  We are afiliated with the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia (SBCV) and the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC).  These connections provide us the opportunity to cooperate with like-minded churches in our state, our nation, and, indeed, around the world in carrying out various mission initiatives and activities.
We take seriously our commitment to "Exalt the Savior, Equip the saints, and Evangelize the sinner."  Accordingly, we offer numerous opportunities each week for our members, regular attenders and guests to connect with God and other believers, grow in Christ-likeness and serve God.  This we do through our worship, fellowship, discipleship, evangelism and ministry programs.   We invite you to join us for Bible study and worship at your earliest opportunity.  We look forward to seeing you soon!

Coronavirus / COVID-19 Impact On Our Church (May 3, 2021) - We continue meeting together for our Sunday morning "Drive-In" Worship Services.  Our Drive-In Worship Services begin at 11:00AM each Sunday (weather permitting).
To participate in our Sunday morning "Drive-In Worship Service" simply drive into our parking lot and park facing the church building.  Tune your car's radio to 107.1 (FM).  We are using this frequency to broadcast our service on a limited-range basis.  Be prepared to remain in your vehicle for the duration of the worship service (approximately 45-to-60 minutes).  The service begins promptly at 11:00AM.  We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
We will resume our normal schedule of activities and services as soon as reasonably appropriate.  Church-members can anticipate periodic updates from their assigned deacons as the situation changes.  Everyone is also encouraged to check our church website for updated information.
Until we can resume our regular schedule of services and activities, we pray that the following passage will give you a sense of peace and reassurance:  "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV).
